Amongst the trueborn high-end audio lovers, the van den Hul MC – Silver series has since then world-wide gained a most respected audience of devotees and admirers. And their ears certainly aren’t wrong….

Whereas The MC – Silver IT Mk III Balanced’s technical specifications roughly remain the same as with its preceding Mk II version, the sound qualities have been taken yet a step further. Regarding its top-notch sound qualities and delightful cosmetics The MC – Silver IT Mk III Balanced more than excellently combines with our The Super Nova; one of the most prestigious speaker cable in our program. Conductor

With its tri-axial triple-shielded design, all conductors in The MC - Silver IT MK III Balanced are made of the world’s highest grade of Matched Crystal (MC) Oxygen Free Copper (OFC) with a very thick mechanically (thus non-chemically) applied layer of purest silver.

Jacket

The transparent deep red Hulliflex ® EHD jacket, exclusively used for our MC - Silver series interconnects, provides even more protection and durability.

Now enters The MC – Silver IT MK III Balanced:

The centre lead consists of 19 extremely high-grade Matched Crystal (MC) extruded OFC strands with a very thick and dense extruded Matched Crystal (MC) purest silver coating applied in a mechanical processing step.

The diameter of this centre conductor is: 0.75 mm.

The centre lead resistance is: 4.95 Ohm/100 m.

The typical capacitance is: 77 pF/meter.

The insulation between the core and shielding is made of Teflon tape in several layers exhibiting a typically low relative dielectric constant.

The triple shielding is made of double 96 x 0.10 mm. Matched Crystal (MC) OFC wire braiding with a very thick and dense coating of very pure silver, and helically overlapping wound of very pure 2.5 x 0.05 mm. silver ribbon.

The external insulation is made of deep red Hulliflex ® EHD material. This specific insulation material is too costly to be used in all our products.

Shielding

The triple shielding is made of double 96 x 0.10 mm. Matched Crystal (MC) OFC wire braiding with a very thick and dense coating of very pure silver, and helically overlapping wound of very pure 2.5 x 0.05 mm. silver ribbon.

Purpose

One of the top-of-the-line balanced interconnects in our program, with its sound transmission quality characterizes as being extremely clean and very dynamic. The best of all our know-how on metal technology is combined in this interconnect.
